File this as a head-scratcher.  In our 2018 poll of Bowdoin students, we asked them their opinion of their major or pre-major advisor (on a scale from 0 to 100).  We also asked them to indicate how many hours per week they spent studying and writing papers (in addition to class time) in their favorite and least favorite class.  The results relating both measures are below.  Students who like their advisor more study more per week in their favorite class but study less in their least liked class.  Interesting results…
